Vicotory Conditions in WITP

Just checking, but I assume that IJN victory will be measured by how they did vs. historical outcome, versus an out and out victory. I think that IJN victory in an absolute sense was impossible, even if all US CV's were sunk by mid-'42. I know there are different opinions on that, but I don't think the US would accept Japanese occupation of most of Asia, and eventually the 20+ Essex CV's would have tipped the balance over, just a year later than actually happened. Will we still do a points system, like UV?
