Prince of Wales and Repulse

This is probably a FAQ, but how come on the Full Campaign scenario PW and R begin at sea when they didn't historically leave port until the 10th? Is it because for the "surprise" the Brits are forced to make that blunder? The Dec. 8 Scenario has them still in port.

Not meant personnally but why are so many posters recently opening new threads in the "tech support" sub forum on issues which have absolutely nothing to do with tech support. A question such as this one properly belongs on the main AE forum, where it has been answered before.
Force Z set sail from Singapore late in the afternoon of the 8th, the day Japan attacked Malaya.

...and if you play with the non-historical first turn option selected, you can give other orders to Force Z as you please.

Sorry about the improper use of the tech forum. You're right of course about the 8th (but it's sunk already and I haven't made my turn for the 8th yet). It wasn't historically attacked until the 10th. Don't bother replying Alfred, I'll go to the other forum.

Forum police Alfred?......
The guy has not been here as long as you have, has not seen the other 10 or 20 other folks who might have asked the same question..
Maybe he posted it here because he felt it might be correctable (if warranted) in a future official patch?..If so...this would be the place to make the query?

No it would not be, as you well know.
Return to LoBaron's thread on use of the various sub forums.
If you think post #2 is out of order then you are condoning the idea that no correction and pointing in the right direction is ever warranted. Others would have been much more curt with the OP.
