Have just install the new version and all seemed to go well until I try and start the game then "Fatal Error 300" in a popup and we exit. Any ideas please?

In may case game re-installation help.

Last time when i have this error a need reinstall game 2 time before game start working. Probably some installation errors.

I think Fatal Error 300 was that game info was not found in Windows registry. So, re-install and remember to run the installer as administrator.

Thanks Gents. Uninstall, reinstall and re patch. All's well that ends well. Thanks for the advice.

I originally had downloaded the patch from the Patch Scroll site someone had linked in the patch thread. This version produced the above error. I then downloaded the patch from the matrix ftp link provided, I had no further issues. Perhaps a matter of where you get the patch??
