Allied Fast Transport Issue

Why can't I load supplies on an Allied Fast Transport? Has this functionality been deprecated? Or is there only certain class ships that can now do this?

I believe that most Allied DD's do not have supply capability hence no ability to add supply.

Edit check the stats of the individual ships. APD's are better

All these ships have capacity of zero.

The allied DDs can't carry anything.  Try adding a ship that can carry something (an APD for example) & see if the load options pop up.

Yes. ALthough some DD classes do have small amt of supply / transport space

I think that APD, and AVD's are the fast allied transport ships.  They don't carry much supplies and or equipment.

The Japanese CA's/DD's etc can carry troops and supply but most of the allied ones can't. This reflects the historical use of this ships and the diet of the Japanese (rice) while the allies ground forces subsisted on bully beef and baked beans. Any self respecting captain of a combat ship won't let a couple of hundred pongoes onboard unless it's been modified to an APD (including industrial sized extraction fans and a separate head).

Yes. It's not that the Allies can't perform Fast Transport/Tokyo Express duties, but that only specific ships can, which those ships you were trying with, aren't. The Japanese are technically under the same limitation, it's just that they have more ships with actual load capacity.
