The war for Poland has ended in turn 6.After that was only agony. As you can see, pretty slow, but still.
I used the most common tactic: gathering all forces near Warsaw, and later trying to improve all units to corps, to slow down the German armored forces. Usually it took two attacks for Germans to destroy corps.

With human German this takes 10 fewer turns (3 vrs 13) even against a human Poland. AI much better than Time of Wrath, but still not too good at penetrating to an objective. The AI does work better on a broad front and is pretty good at attrition however.

I think that with this tactic Polish human is able to defend longer than 3 turns against German human.
