My tankers in LA won't sail! Pearl is running out of fuel and Houston we have a problem! Calcutta is working fine, but LA won't send out the tankers! This was an old problem with the earlier versions, which I thought was fixed! Any ideas how to fix it? Reload the game?

How many tankers(TK not AO) are based in LA ?
Is Pearl an isolated base ?
Do you have enough fighters in Pearl ?
Do you use Pacwar 3.1 or earlier version ?
Maybe you have to refuel Pearl using freighters with mixed supply or send AO and some TK manually .

15+ tankers in LA, I got a ton of fighters in Pearl, but they are training. The fact that they are training has not caused this before. Pearl is not isolated. The version is 3.1! Yes I can manually send tankers to pearl, but when I get my resupply display screen I have x number of DD's and x number of DE's and x number of MSC BUT NO tankers are sailing!@#%$^%&^*

Got it to work! I put tankers in Calcutta too and the ones in LA seem to be sailing, at least Pearl is building up fuel!

I've been a big fan of PACWAR updates since version 1.1, but is 3.1 causing THIS?

No, I don't think it's 3.1. I noticed something like this with at least one game in version 2.3. (I compensated by running AO's back and forth from San Francisco to Pearl Harbor, but I don't recommend that for a PBEM game.)

if i remember right, i have noticed for all version that the TKs do not get used very often. I usually just leave on group of 6 in LA and use the rest to ferry fuel to bases. i put the AOs with the AVs delivering Marine air units and the TKs with AKs delivering AAF fighters and bombers, that keeps the speeds about the same and delivers fuel to some of the bases.

Routine convoys primarily use MCS with mixed supply. TKs are used rarely if certain conditions are met regarding the bases need for fuel, and this is after mixed supply has been sent.

If you want to stockpile, you need to do it manually, and/or put HQs in that base.
