Just wondering what happens to AA and planes in areas that become allied controlled?
Do you have to pull the equipment and planes prior to this?
If so, are the dates and locations known?
Do events speed or slow these down?
What are the effects of Italy surrendering?

It's better that you keep your front lines empty of planes...
Maybe you'll need also to move out some of your better AAs.
Dates are those near the real ones. Maybe some days after, if the german are doing well, or some days before if the allies are doing well. The ground that they occupy is probably the real life advancement ground. In Italy they'll start the invasion in September (I don't remember the exact date), and they will liberate the "boot" first, then they'll liberate Naples. They will stop near Rome. They will attack Anzio, then they will liberate Rome, etc. That will happend near the historical dates.

When Italy surrenders you'll loose all (or maybe only some??) of your italian Squadriglias. Anyway look at your reinforcements. Maybe Salo Republic still give you some reinforcements...
You'll keep the italian production.
I've played a pair of italian campaigns.
IMHO in 1943, before Italian surrenders, your italian planes are able to do some damage to the allies (aircobras, A-20, P-40s, etc). Use them before you loose them!

I'd advise to pull all equipment you can save from front line fields. Your front line troops could better use the low-level AA guns than the airfields.

Do the AA guns with the ground units move with the ground units when they are displaced, or are they lost?
