Simple question - what is it and how does it works? [:)] I noticed what in can change during mission, and jocks with low bravery get -3% penalty

Bravery does affect most skill checks (not for Androids) by -6% to +6%. It is based on the jocks leadership skill modified by combat casualties (destroyed titans, ejected jocks etc).
A jock in short distance to the squad leader will receive his leadership as base if it is greater than the jocks leadership.

Bravery <= 5 Skill Modifier -6%
Bravery <= 20 Skill Modifier -3%

Bravery > 80 Skill Modifier +3%
Bravery > 95 Skill Modifier +6%

It will be displayed while hovering over the health bubbles with the mouse. Check the patch122.txt.
