amazing victory.. I played it twice vs JL Betin and both of us failed to achieve a substantial breakthrough

Guys,
I wonder how the changes he made to the scenario (from a twelve turn half-day scenario to a twenty turn half-week scenario and apparently these were the only changes he made) affected the overall experience. Hmm...
Best wishes,
Steve

Increase in movement surely makes for easier exploitation in breakthroughs of course

Good question. He did say the reinforcements kept coming, even though he extended the turns. Is that true?

pditty8811,
Well... reinforcements would still keep coming but if he really did only change the number of turns and the turn length then they would be arriving on the half-day turn schedule and so would arrive late. Additionally, replacements would be also be arriving on the half-day schedule and so would arrive light.
And that is not even addressing the problem of reinforcements that arrived after the initial six day period. I smell a whole can of worms being opened.
From the article: "So I changed the number of turns (this was the only thing I changed) to 20, at half a week per turn." - Curtis Szmania. It would appear that the changes were minumum.
Best wishes,
Steve
