A tip on Infiltration Movement

Any unit that is in Attack posture and is in enemy ZOC can move to an adjacent hex that is also in enemy ZOC. This is called Infiltration Movement.

If you attempt Infiltration Movement the unit takes a Quality Check ("QC"). If it fails the QC, it suffers a +1 Disruption which means your attack and defence vales decrease.

So, if you are going to attempt it, you need to ensure you have a good chance of success. There are modifiers to the QC. From the manual;

Daylight Turn +20 ( bad)
Move to be made into clear terrain +20 (bad)
Wheather is Precipitation -10 (good)
German unit attempting the infiltration -10 ( good)
Commando unit attempting to infiltrate -10 (good)

So, to succeed at an infiltration movement it should be done at night and or in bad weather, into any hex except clear terrain and is best done by German units or Commandos.

Great to know. Thank you. I'm hoping many will be playing again once the patch comes.
