That's great.
I have reported a problem on 1st april(no joke).
I feel in that case really bad as I can't go past the Loading screen.
May I have a rough idea on when that problem will be taken in charge.

Just something to try here. . . . The loading screen can seem to take a really long time and seems like it’s not doing anything when it actually is. Just something to try let it go for awhile - just to see what happens - even like a few minutes (it doesn't take that long but just to see)

I did
but as soon as the loading scrren is seen I hear an error message
In fact there is an error message and there is a box message hidden that says
Microsoft visual c++ runtime library

this application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way....

Very sorry for your troubles.
That – unfortunately – is all that I know of at this point to try. Obviously if I come up with more, I will let you know right away. But hopefully someone from Zeal can straighten this out as soon as possible.

I'm sending the programmer over to this thread! Its a bit hard couse we have 3 forums and somtimes we miss to see witch tech in all of them. You said you installed C++ 2010 this should be 2008 both can be installed at the same time. Have you tried to install the 2008?

That's usually a problem related with the version of Visual C++ library.
I usually have 2005, 2008 and 2010 version always installed.
This and .Net Framework are always a pain in the ass.

At least in the beta the game was working with these installed:

Also you can probably see the log error in Windows Event viewer.
Do you know how to do that?

It seems to be a problem with Visual C++.
Try this patch:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update

I cannot understand why your Visual C++ packages have different size from mine
Maybe TA's programmer can help you further. There's the possibility of you having to uninstall all the Visaul C+ packages and then install some of them again. Damn M$.
I'll definitely keep this thread under my watch.

I'm not a programmer but I got a message from one;

We also thought at first that the problem was due to version issues of the Visual C redist... but since this has been tried out we must do more research on the subject to find a solution. We will look deeper into this, but right now there is unfortunately nothing we can do.
