One way air supply

I recently posted a thread about some Australian converted B 24's that flew from that country clear to Colombo, in a one way trip lasting approx 17 hours.

I wonder if the game engine would allow "transfers" with loaded planes, to simulate this?
If so, we might then be able to set the unit on an aerial automatic convoy type system to prevent the daily need to keep sending the same unit to those points manually.

The B 24 in the thread I posted was carrying over 5000 lbs per plane that distance.
That is a lot of SPAM(the good kind),,

Can't be "gamey" since it was a daily occurrence.

The problem is map distortion in the Indian Ocean.

Aussie PBYs could fly to Columbo - non-stop.

So could LB-30s.

Not in AE.

Not even my LB-30s with belly tanks can make it - and their range is fantastic - better than a C-54.

I conclude we can never make the Columbo run from Western Aus as per history - due to how the map works.
