T16 Overview

I've lost Leningrad, but Moscow survive the german attack.
All industries (except heavy) had been evacuated, and the soviet casulties are relative low, around 2,3 million.

With my opponent we are on some house rules, what real change the gameplay.
1. No airfield attack
2. No raid
3. During the winter offense only 3 soviet front can launch delibarete attack (others just hasty)
4. The german try to defend his position (retreat only if will be encircled)

what does this mean?

It means don't use the Pelton strategy, breaking the frontline, and with an elite unit rush the undefended cities far from the front lines.

2. No raid

It is not the Pelton Strategy, it is so called panzer raiding. I use it as Axis and suffer it as Soviet. It keeps the latter honest. It is very much a two edged sword - i have lost SS Mot Div to surrender in 41 for 4 ARM points destroyed - hmmmmm. I would not play a game where I couldn't move my units to best effect. This House Rule is an affront to right thinking. What is a "Raid" ? This is far worse than "No Muling", "No paradrops", " No HQ build ups" "No all on Reserve mode"

what does this mean?

It means don't use the Pelton strategy, breaking the frontline, and with an elite unit rush the undefended cities far from the front lines.

not that the cities should be left undefended in the first place[:-][:D]

Pelton himself abandoned the raiding strategy.

Anyways, it's a dumb strategy that can be shut down by a good evacuation schedule. No need for house rules. See the AAR I did against Pelton a while back. That convinced him to drop raiding.

T17 Leningrad front

Zerg invasion against the finns. They are far from their supply lines, so with extra divisions I can encircle and destroy them. I belive on 42 spring-summer my goals will be to beat out the finns.

T17 Moscow front

The german try to flanking Moscow and Tula near south Kaluga. But it's too late, and I belive the random weather don't help my oponents move.

T17 Casulties

My casulties are low, less then 2,5, what is extreemly good. However, during the winter turns, I can't use my extra manpower, because only 3 front can attack deliberate.

Rostov will be defended. I don't want to see the AGB and AGA.

T25 Soviet winter offense

Only 3 soviet front will attack/turn, so the most strongest the moscow will do. All other fronts will move back a refit, increasing their morale far from the front line. The front line will be protected by the inf and arm brigade.

T25

The moscow front.

I belive this offense will be not so succesfull, because the most of the german pz divs stand around Smolensk.
But I'm not really care. Many soviet divs survide the first 17 turn, and my casulties are light.

The Axis lost by turn sixteen. This is more of a standard game than the german success AARs IMHO.

The german has a big chance to survive the winter offense. Only 3 soviet front will attack on same time. So, the german reinforcements plus mot/pz divs can stop the soviet (reserve mod...)

German surrender!!!!!
