I the original WaW when hovering over a province it'd always show industry & rail "units", but I'm not seeing them in AWD at all. Am I missing something? How can you tell how much damage there is on rail or factories now?

My event videos aren't working either, so I'm wondering if there's some kind of install issue.

With Win 7 if I run the game in full screen mode I hear the video sound but don't get the images, if I play in window mod I get the videos correctly.
I do get the rails, factories and resource icons, unless hovering the mouse over an hidden because fow rules and not displayed by spies.

Hmm, I just re-installed the entire game to the DEFAULT directory, and now the icons work. Before I had it in a custom directory. Did you install to the default /Matrix Games directory? Maybe that's your issue. I also applied the latest patch after I installed this time. (Before the patch made no difference w/icons.)

Ok, the reinstall fixed the factory/rail/resource problem, but not the video. Also on Win 7, seems like a popular trend.

It's not a real problem after few games a lot of gamers disable videos. [;)]
