Ya gotta love the comment section trolls. [8|]
I respect these boys for doing their duty but I'm on the side of Japan.
Do you know why the US Fleet didn't send carriers into the Atlantic to save Europe? - Because they feared the German wolfpacks.
Many years later, in 2001, a single German submarine (U-24) broke through the defense line of a whole American carrier group, locked on the USS Enterprise, simulated a torpedo shot and surfaced next to it afterwards.
Prove enough?
Because a German sub penetrated a US carrier screen in 2001, the US Navy was terrified to send it's carriers to the Atlantic from 1941-45.

Some good footage in there. And yes, there is a tremendous amount of ignorance in the comments section of that video.

btbw -
I would have to say that this video - actually a collage of film shorts - was exceptionally well done; utterly gripping and perhaps one of the best representations of true combat action in the Pacific that I have ever seen. A "well done" to the individual who put it together, the music was perfectly matched to the action on screen.
I have a renewed respect and appreciation for the men and women who served in that conflict.
Thank You for the link and opportunity to see this amazing film footage.
Mac

Why would that video get censored? It just seemed like a normal "ra ra! america!" type video with a bunch of (nice) ww2 footage of american ships and planes set to inspirational music heh. Nothing objectionable imho.

Because my government takes good care of me and doesn't want me to see anything that might not be good.
Its nice to have such a nanny as a grown man. I can't have enough bureaucrats telling me what's good for me!
