Just bought the game!

Saw it in a "Buy 1, get 1 Free" bin at EB Games, so I paid for this game and got the Panzer Elite Collection for free.
Pretty happy right now. [:D]
Edit:- Newer Grand Campaigns? We truly are spoilt.

I don't think you mean Panzer Corps - it has not released at retail in any country with an EB and is certainly not on sale

Hmm maybe the Australian release has happened. I'll need to check but they certainly got the pricing wrong so you have had a bargain! At least it doesn't change the fact EB paid us full price for the game

Maybe someone sold their copy to EB games? I have a boxed copy I got in the mail from matrix why couldn't EB have just bought a used copy of that?

Well I'm looking at the case now.
-Looks new.
-Has a professional looking manual.
-No scratches on the cd.
-The case looks professional(black plastic, not boxed) and the liftout(insert? Whatever you call the shiny bit that has the information on
) is like what you would get on your average new game(nice pic on the front and relevant information/screen shots on the back).
-Has a sticker of what was the original price of $49.01aud, on the front cover and just below that is a sticker advertising the 2 for 1 deal (which netted me panzer elite for free I paid $49.01aud for it because it was dearer than Panzer Elite and naturally the cheaper game is always the one you get for free
).
So I see no indication that this is someone's second hand copy.

If it helps, a couple of years ago, I bought Gary Grigsbys World at War from EB Games to. So it's not like I've never seen a matrix game in local stores.
Granted the ability to get them online is pretty awesome and it's sure helped me catch up on the Close Combat series. [&o]
Edit:-In additon to the above post. The front cover of the case, has the following logos on it(in the bottom right hand corner):
-A matrix logo
-A slitherine logo
-A lordz games studio logo
-A flashback games studio logo
