Hello,
I all the time thought that exp done by training for ground unit could be gain only if preparation points are on 100%. See this 34 army it gain exp even on 61 % planing only. it is sitting in Sian without any combat there.

Could somebode explain ?

Can't explain it. I always thought you needed to be at 100 prep. Perhaps there is a slow gain for units regardless.

Me too. 100 prep points was the magic mark. Has there been a change in one of the patches?

Is that unit taking replacements? I think if unit have low experience, new replacements can raise overall experience.

Or if air attacks ocurred.

I am sure no replacement , no air attack - some of them are chinese unit (all chinese in my game are replacement off-so i am sure, no air attack they are as well deep in china). Nothing like this can explain [&:]

There are quit many units out of combat gaining slowly exp im my game.

Could be explanation that they are slowly decreasing disrupted devices ???

And I am playing last patch 8r9. Scenario 1 , PBEM , no mode.

Did you check with tracker ? Without it I will not notice it.

So it looks like standard that it is gaining exp even without prep 100 %. It could be nice to be confirmed by somebody with access to code.

Checked it with Tracker. Has about 40 turns of data in it. Spot checked a few US INF units and saw nothing. Same with some CHINF that were half way into the prep.
