Asking what everyone thinks is missing in the japanese arsenal (aircraft)

my top choices are:

1) lack of long range 4-engine heavy bmbr capability
2) lack of durable carrier torpedo/dive
3) lack of interceptors to take down allied 4E


and what designs could be configured to fill these roles?

I'm not aware of any 4-E long range heavy bomber planes for the Japs. Did they have any? Same same for the Germans.

asking for ideas for non-standard scenario

but historically they did have a few

G5N Shinzan (Liz) - didn't produce many of them
G8N Renzan (Rita) - late war

and of course

H8K Seiku (Emily) - limited use as heavy bmbr

but they did carry out the second raid on pearl harbor and a few other places

should phrase my topic as

"what capability do you want to have as japan, and how would you configure the japanese designs to achieve that capability"
such as..

"I want a higher performance interceptor to keep air superiority over friendly airspace"

"so I would remove some fuel from the Tojo and replace it with heavier armament,
such as the 4xHo-3 cannon armament that was proposed by never produced"

1) Geo-synchronized Satellite's
2) ICBM's
3) Virginia Class SSN's
4) SAW equipped squads w/ night vision capability

but I would rather use them for parachuting spies, etc [8D]
