We're pleased to announce that Conflict of Heroes has gone gold and will be releasing on Tuesday, May 8th. We'll be sending out more information next week, but I wanted to give you all the news as soon as I could.

Quick question; I pre-ordered from Academy Games and my notification was from Matrix. Does this mean that those of us who pre-ordered from Academy will be able to download as well? I would think for the price we paid, both the physical copy and download are available. Please advise.

I'm not sure exactly how these have been handled so will need to check and get back to you. Normally any purchase via a reseller would not get a download link as we never deal directly with the customer but in that case I would not expect you to get an e-mail from us either. I can't see how you got an e-mail to be honest as we have not collected any orders for the game so these must have been handled outside the system and that means no mails should have been generated.

We worked things out with our warehouse so that the pre-orders from Academy Games could be shipped out by us directly to the pre-order customers on the release date. This does not apply to the pre-orders that wanted a signed copy, as Uwe will still have to receive those games, sign them and then send them out. Everyone else will get their order shipped out ASAP - hopefully all will ship today, should be no later than tomorrow.

There is no download attached to these orders, as they are physical orders that are being fulfilled by us on behalf of Academy Games directly through our warehouse, rather than orders that went through our store system. Sorry, but if you want a download the only way to get one is to order through our store. I believe Academy Games was clear on only selling the physical copy.

When will the Collectors Edition be available?

It's available right now - this is a Collector's Edition release. Every boxed copy comes with a full color printed manual.

Thanks for the heads up...for some reason I presumed the "boxed edition" was a "Standard Edition" and the "Collectors Edition" was pending. I'm not sure how I came to that conclusion but I'm grateful for the clarification.

No, I totally understand Erik and I accept that. Matrix is always who I purchase from and for some reason, I reacted too quickly and couldn't restrain my urge to have the game immediately when I place my pre-order two months ago. I ignorantly figured Academy would make the game availalbe sooner than any other option. Lesson learned=always purchase from Matrix! Thanks for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it.
