There is a lot of love for this game amongst a core group of owners...just does not seem that there are that many.

Out of curiosity, how many of you currently play PBEM games with this title? I could have started a poll but I would rather weed out the casual and get responses from the active die hards. Please respond if you are a Combat Command PBEMer.

I would like to find a home for a PBEM ladder of CC, but sadly this thread is confirming for me that the community is just too small to make it worthwhile at this time. We'll see, maybe next week this thread will catch fire. Maybe if we all keep talking it up to our friends and fellow gamers, there will be an influx of fresh mea...er...gamers after the '12 Matrix Christmas sale.

I don't think Gabeeg this game is going to get much love anymore. I'm happy they fixed it, to its current condition. There's just to many shiny new games out there for anyone to pay attention to CCME.

Its a slim hope I know...very slim...borderline fanciful. But sometimes good games continue to get a slow but steady influx of new players. From an outside view it seems to be the case with the Matrix John Tillers Campaign Series, though granted it started off with a much larger base.

...But as it stands now there is no reason to discuss finding a home for a Combat Command ladder...just too few to make it viable

The solution is everyone buys the game for a friend, as I have. Now if my friend does not play it, we are s--- out of luck [;)]

Yes, lol. Gifting is kind of a hassle on Matrix, but CCME is only 25 megs to upload. The Harpoon Ultimate you can't really gift as there's too many files to upload. Ian says they are working on it, but it's difficult.

We rank our ladders by an ELO system and as long as there are two of you playing on it, it will stay up. We also track winning average, and games played and of course W-L-D.

We don't offer a legacy scenario datbase, but have a game reported log where you can see past game results.
