Shouldn't have done the 2nd strike on PH. Did not hit much and lost a lot of good planes & pilots

Thanks!
No it is not. You just need to have a couple windows of "Paint" open next to WITPAE and you need a little skill with MS powerpoint. Once a slide is filled, you can select everything and save it as a jpeg. Very easy...

That almost went wrong. Only a few transports got damaged. Most of them remained afloat unharmed. But for safety they have been pulled back. Tomorrow a surface TF with 3 CAs and a Air Combat TF with 1 CVL and 3 CAs will hunt down the Allied convoy.

Always a relief to capture Wake Island. I held it successfully in my last to PBEMs as the Allies...

Two questions:
- What are exactly the requirements to resupply torpedoes on carriers? I guess: Naval HQ + port size = 5(?) + 20.000 supplies. Is this correct?
- How can you quickly build up a destroyer air base in DBB-C? Kota Bharu has been captured 8 days ago and is still hardly repaired while several engineer units are there. This is not very promising for when the Allies get massive amounts of heavies. For now I have placed all planes on standby. Hopefully this will help focus the engineers a bit...
I pulled back my units near Brunei and will wait until I have more airbases in the area. I expect the Allies to bombard the place as soon as I capture it. In the meantime I'm close of establishing an major airbase at Mindanao. There is already a Naval Flotilla HQ underway.

Some of the named engineering units in DBB can't actually build or repair anything. They may perform other useful functions though.
This is implemented using numerous different eng type devices. You can either look in the editor to see how they are defined or search the forum for posts by JWE spelling it all out. I don't have a link to hand unfortunately.

I set most units to receive reinforcements and have maximized vehicle production.
On the ground all units should be at full strenght as they sooner or later will be trown into battle...

So far the conquest of Luzon goes according to plan. The Allies seem to be retreating...
