No weapon cards!?

Just read the description that there are no weapon cards in the game. Does that mean there are no artillery, flamethrowers or DC charges, for example? This is a pretty big letdown.
The weapon cards are not in this release, but we do have off-map artillery (as well as on-map mortars) and Pioneers for your close assault needs.
