Coming to a thread near you ...most likely this one...a spreadsheet I am in the process of completing.
Said sheet will detail by model series, the monthly Japanese airframe production of each of the 13 companies that assembled air frames from December 1941 through August 1945.
As of this afternoon...I have accounted for 47,322 airframes from 7 of the 13 manufacturers.

So I've got 13 of 13 Air-frame Manufacturer Corporation Reports transcribed into Excel...and can account for 61,986 Air-frames between Dec-41 and Aug-45. Unfortunately the USSBS Charts, while useful are not entirely complete.
Francillon accounts for 69,888 air-frames in the period 1941-1945. That differs from my total by 7,902.
However being that my analysis only runs from Dec-41, and not all of 1941, I need to calculate the 1941 air-frames not included in my analysis. Francillon reports 5,088 air-frames manufactured in 1941...my analysis showed 556 in Dec-41. So 5,088-556=4532 air-frames left out of my analysis for 1941.
Subtract the 4532 air-frames left out of my report for 1941 from the 7,902 difference...7902-4532=3370 air-frames I need to account for in the 45 months of the war. That averages out to just under 75 air-frames per month or about 2.5 air-frames per day. A couple hundred of these are not included as they would have been experimental and prototype air-frames manufactured at Mitsubishi Plant No.1.
All in all close enough for government work....and the numbers can be refined with careful cross checking in the future. For my purposes this analysis gets me in the ball park, and probably to the section of the stadium, where my seat is ...if not the row.
So without further ado...drum roll please...for your modding pleasure...

I'm impressed, I've considered mining the USSBS for similar data, but never quite sat down to try.
Is the data split by plant, or just by company?

Depends on the report. Some companies have detailed spreadsheets by plant, others have a spreadsheet for the entire company.
Japan International Air Ind. (Nippon Kokusai Koku Kogyo) only had a line chart with totals. So based on information in the narrative, I used some creative fudging and guesstimation to arrive at the monthly individual model output for that company.
