Some/most of the scenarios, if you play as the Germans (which is suggested), feature you attacking Soviets that are usually in a bunker behind barbed wire behind mine fields, requiring you to roll a 12 or sometimes an 11 to beat them. What is the best strategy for dealing with these units?

I find flanking them and attacking at close range from the rear works well, basically assaulting the bunker as it's best defense is towards the front. Also, use of CAPs and group fire to increase your odds helps.
