Any fans of Memoir 44 here?
I haven't played M44 in years but in 3D mode this game reminds me a lot of M44.

Played it some. I have an account for the new web driven version hosted by Days of Wonder. It's a very impressive interface I got to give them that. Looks great. The gameplay of M44 does not stack up however. I'll play CoH or Tide of Iron over M44 any day.

I've played quite a bit of it in the past. It's a good light wargame, great for conventions, for when you want a more beer and pretzels board game night or don't have as much time to play, also good for introducing people to wargames. Overall though, I also lose interest in the gameplay if I play it too often though, it doesn't have enough to really hold my interest.
I bought Tide of Iron for a friend, but haven't had a chance to play that yet. I am (obviously) a big fan of COH as a game that is not that much more complex, but much more rewarding and realistic.
Regards,
- Erik

The game rules are very diferent when compared to M44. It's a step closer to Squad Leader without the complex phases and rules.
