Smoke not helping defense here

My selected tank was just hit. Yet it's defense should have been a 17 not a 15.

That's strange, smoke is one of the things I rechecked during release testing. I will look at it this afternoon. Thanks!

I just loaded The Monsters and had the BA10 attack the same Panzer IIIe after firing smoke from the IVd into its hex, and the smoke defense worked for me. I tried a few other attacks from the hill, and the defense worked in all of those as well. Do you do anything that would be a departure from this, such as load a save game file? I'm trying hot-seat mode and you're probably using AI?

I see the BA10 used a CAP bonus. I don't think that would create a problem with the smoke application, but I'll check that too.

edit: Still seems to work properly with a CAP bonus, so that's probably not the issue. Anybody else seeing new smoke not working to provide a defensive bonus?

In The Monsters, smoke also seems to be working properly against an AI opponent. Were you playing multiplayer?

Here as well is another example of smoke not helping defense. These LMG's are in light woods for +1DM that is credited however it is also in +1DM smoke and you can see that it did not give credit for that.

Oh nevermind. it appears that it gave it but does not explain it like it does for terrain and height modifiers. Smoke mod should be included in the verbatim as well.

My smoke modifiers are listed in the attack descriptions verbosely. Is anyone else seeing this?
