In CC only one unit can be attacked. You don't get to attack a stack.

I'm looking at the original rules, page 4, 7.63, and I don't see this rule here. If this was something added in a later version, maybe put it on the wish list.

You should not be using AtB v1.0 for rules reference. That is why during beta I always referred you to the reference rulebook included with PoH because this first edition of the AtB rules were so full of mistakes, and second because some major aspects of the game fundamentally changed for SoS. The 2nd edition rulebook for AtB that I just got done recently proof reading for errors does specifically mention this issue with CC, but you don't have to wait until the 2nd edition of the AtB rulebook to see this rule. This is clipped from the reference rules included in PoH. It also appears in the new 2nd edition of AtB's rules unchanged.

Thanks. I found this in the PoH rules last night.

The contract under which we are operating was for the original rules set. This is the rules set for which the original design document for the computer game was written, and under which the game architecture was designed. Midway through development Uwe asked if we could update some of the rules to new rules sets, and we agreed to consider these changes on a rule-by-rule basis. We'll have to weigh making changes for things like this in comparison to other things we might do with our schedule and budget based on player feedback.

If you do release additional modules in future such as Storms of Steel, you'll need to update your engine to the latest version of the rules anyway - so why not start early :)
