Unit Info Panel Mod

This mod replaces the stock Unit Info Panel units graphics and uses counters instead. Keep in mind that the values on the counters may not represent the actual stats of the units in all cases so one should always refer to the values stated in the panel for accuracy.

Unzip the 'Units' file and put it in your ....../Conflict Of Heroes/Data folder.

Remember to back up your Units folder before installing this mod. This mod does not change any data, only the graphics.

Sorry I cannot. All I did was replace the png files with placeholders from an earlier version. Not sure how to edit the actual info files.

I installed it and I love it. For me its a keeper. Adds much to the feeling playing a board agem.

Back to an earlier bata version. I had liked the way it used to look like this before the new graphics got added in and replaced the unit counters in the info panel. Nice to see it can be rolled back via modding to what I preferred before. Thanks.

Can you create "new" units for this game?

For instance an M-4A3 sherman? Can you put in it's stats and an image of an M4 and have a new unit?

I installed your mod, but the units on the map are not displayed as counters...

I run 1.5 - could that be a problem?

Any idea where to check?

Poking around in the game folders I found these style counters without the numbers on them. Data\UnitDecals\Chits

Now that I have viewed them, they are in my game UI. How do I turn them off and go back to the Mugshots?

I did two things and one of them changed it. First I went back into the folder and viewed the chits and then the mugshot for one unit. Then I started the game and from System Settings I changed Chit View to No. Not sure which one did it. If I change to chit view in game the mugshot stays the same.

The mugshots should now show chits if you start the game in chit view, 3D images if you start in 3D mode. They won't switch if you switch during the game however.
