Does R&D factory consume engines to research aircrafts?

Does R&D factory consume engines to gain engine bonus R&D point?

No - but 500 surplus engines will give a bonus to each research factory. The design needs to be reworked IMHO

Does R&D factory consume engines to gain engine bonus R&D point?

No again.
