I purchased Armada 2526 as a download from Amazon. The game appeared to download without any problems but when I clicked on the install wizard to begin the game installation I immediately got this error message:

"Armada 2526 cannot be installed on systems with screen resolution smaller than 1024x768."

My monitor is an AOC 22" LCD with a desktop and native resolution of 1680x1050. Can you suggest some sort of workaround for this problem as my display resolution is indeed well above the minimum suggested by the error message. I have an MSI/ATI 5700 series graphics card -- not great but it seems to handle the wide variety of games I play with very few problems. My OS is Win 7 Home Premium, 64-bit.

I have already deleted the downloaded Armada 2526 installation file and redownloaded it several times, but with the same error message appearing upon attempting to install the game.

I suggest you also post your difficulties in the game's official forums. There's more activity there, and as such you're more likely to get a (hopefully useful) response.
