I have been playing for about 6 hours. I have some questions I was hoping someone could help me with. This is really a very very cool game.

1) When you click on the SMOKE, I cannot UNCLICK it. I tried ESCAPE, clicking other units, all the tricks I could think. Does anyone know how to get out of this without shooting the smoke?

2) Similar thing with Bonus move in armor. I move the armor one space (Monsters) and it automatically makes me do the BONUS move thing, and I want to fire. I cannot figure out how to NOT have the Bonus.

3) Similar thing when I click ATTACK. I cannot UNCLICK it. I even tried to click my own unit and my own unit fired on itself. How do I UNCLICK the attack thing?

4) Can I influence RALLY by selecting the CAP thing for Dice Rolls? I think I can. Or it could be fluke that everytime I click the CAP DICE bonus, I always am able to RALLY, I think. The game does not give me input on this.

5) I have been practicing with Group stuff. Very cool. But the game is not telling me if I am getting that Group Bonus shot of +1 or whatever it is. I think it might not be working because I had a group of 4 to 5 units, which I thought would give me a +3 or a +4 and I MISSED. The game did not clue me in on any Group Fire bonus, so I do not know what happened.

Sorry, I just found the answer to #4 in the manual. You CAN influence RALLY with the CAP Dice modifier thing.

For #2, you can tap the space bar to pass on the bonus move.

From page 22 of the manual: If you need to, you can end a bonus move with the “Pass” button on the unit buttons bar (see Unit Buttons), or by hitting <spacebar>.

Haven't played since the weekend but iirc some actions once chosen cannot be reversed. It is very frustrating. Yes, you can use action points to rally or take other actions. You can even use them to better your odds as you probably have tumbled to by now.

I would really like to see a way to back out of an action once it has been chosen. You have to choose carefully.

For #1, you can lcancel smoke, there is a small white triangle on the interface I believe.  I think its on the top left hand corner area

Thanks. You are correct. There is a cancel box which appears in the upper left corner as you said.

I will pay attention as I play about the other actions.
