Anyone know what the small black square that appears in upper left corner
of platoon box? Also this little square will change color.

Also sometimes unit on map flashes yellow has not seen enemy or been fired upon?

Thanks Much!

Can you post a screenie and put an arrow pointing to the box in question?

The flashing seems to have various causes:

1. Unit has a hold fire order.
2. Unit is under fire.
3. Unit is out of ammo.

There's a system to it, but I haven't looked at it in detail.

Tiny little square in upper left of squad box.
I will usually see only one of the boxes have the square and
usually a infantry box. Mortar squads will have this also.

I think it must be heavy weapons. And the other little square top right means that the unit can call in air or artillery support.

When that top right square turns red, it means the the support mission is underway.

Pretty sure that means can call organic indirect fire, mortars, howitzer that are on map.
The Unit can use the "G" command.

You do not get option to choose how many shells etc, like the off board arty.
