...what does the "MP" extension mean on the .exe WitpAE file? Which is the difference from the normal one? Cause i've just played with the MP version and yet i don't know why [:D]

But you have to use the MP-Version from start or can you switch to out of a running game ?

You can switch up to the MP version, but you can't go back due the bigger array in the new save.

It's in the Beta folder (u have to dl the beta patch obviously)

Does that mean it will be in the official patch, as in it will upgrade the game automatically when patched?

Once you download the latest beta patch from the tech support section, you must install it into the main witpAE folder. Once unzipped you're gonna have a new sub-folder called Beta2...there you'll find the new patched .exe files...the normal one and the MP one...simply copy and paste the MP one into the main folder and there u go

Mmmm, yes but the files dates are several months different.  Concerned if they are the same version.  Hoping Michael will see this (these) threads and confirm the file versions.

I get dates of 21/01/2012 on both, and the version numbers match, so I'm going with yes, they are the same version. Would still be nice to get confirmation though.

OK, so them I need to do a re-install as my dates are not the same.  Thanks Juan.
