Additional firefights

I was just wondering why additional firefights is not included in the multiplayer lobby.
I've designed quite a few firefights which I'd like to play against another person and the mp lobby is the easiest way to setup a mp game.
Is there a technical reason for this or was it just overlooked?

There is a technical reason. The game doesn't broadcast scenario information, so both players must have firefights installed identically on their systems for the game to work properly, and with user-created firefights, we don't have a way in-place to ensure that this is the case. If there are many fan-created firefights, we will strongly consider adding a mechanism that allows players to play them easily through the lobby, but it would be a lot of work to do if there are only a handful of fan-created firefights: if there are not many fan-created firefights, it would be easier for us to include these firefights in future patches to make them accessible to every player so that they can be played through the game using the current mechanism.

It is common with other games for both players to have the scenario files before a match. I grabbed his files before I posted to him. This shouldn't be a reason to not allow using the lobby.

You might be able to stick them in the game directory -- with the regular scenario files -- and play them that way.

We put the map files in Data\Maps and the scenario files in Data\Scenarios\AwakeningTheBear and we were able to play in the lobby.
