I can't find this file anywhere in the members section; only download available is the extended map

Need some help; where is this beta?

Likewise. I have a version from the r4 beta, but that's all. I had assumed it would be included in the official patch, but it appears not to be.

Would be nice to get some help or an official word on this.

Good find, thank you. I could only find one of the earlier beta threads myself.

Official patch was only for normal EXE as MP was really a 'free' gift from Michael.

Hi All:
I noted that the mp.exe file has a date of 1/6/12 and a version no. of 1.0.6.1108r8.
The "official update" and the last public beta have a date of 1/21/12 and a version no.
of 1.0.6.1108r9. Is there any diff between the mp version and the other two other
than the increased pilot array? Also, beside putting the mp.exe file in the main folder,
does one need to put the pwsdllmp.dll file in the main folder as well ?

If i understand this correctly the last beta patch allowed for extra pilots but this feature was not included in the official patch (though other than that they are the same).

All fine, but what happens when we start getting more patches? Will we always get an 'unofficial' patch with the extra pilots? Or will we be left playing something that is 'unpatchable'.

Just curious as am thinking of starting another game after taking a break for a while.

EDIT : thinking about it some more - how much difference does this make? I only play against the AI, does that make it irrelevent to me?

if i start a game on the official (i.e. no extra pilots) patch will i be able to swap over to any future new patch to get the effects or will i have to start a new game?

You will be able to continue as it is. Code changes do not require restart.

I have tried the MP.exe (date/time stamp 21.01.2012 19:48h) - it does not seem to include the "supply cap" function?
