There's a couple of folders in the game, 'logs' and 'masterlogdir', with nothing in them. Is there a way of enabling and generating a log file for the game, e.g. a listing of the actions taking place during a turn?

There is a rulevar you can switch on that generates AI thinking algortihm reports.
Also you can make some text report and pdf report exports from the editor that will be written to the logs directory.
