Big white number on counters

I figured it out! What the big white number in the middle of the counters are.
If you take the number of men, and divide by 100, add to it the number of tanks/guns and divide that by 5....you get that number.
Its like the hitpoints of the unit, since all damage in combat is inflicted by those individual units on the combat screen.
For example, if a unit has 1800 men, 15 artillery, and 10 anti-tank guns, the number will be 23.

It represents the power value of the unit. This is an abstract value only meaningfull in comparison with the value of other units. It also corresponds to 100 manpower or equivelant per point. It also corresponds to the stack points of the unit.
