Ahoi,

ive planned to buy Distant Worlds including both addons from the website. My question is: Are the Addons available in German Language? i know that the basicgame is, but i cant find any information about the language of both addons.

Tough Question eh? seriously nobody knows?

nice name btw. . The addons are not available in german. There is a boxed version of Distant Wolrds by DTP Entertainment available in german but I don't think that this version is compatible with the addons. My suggestion, do as I did and buy the whole package in english from the website and appreciate the chance to improve your english skill.

I'd like to back up what vonHart says. If you can post in these forums, you can understand everything you need to do in DW, and if you are having trouble, ask here. I won't translate, but I'll help to contextualize. (I HATE localized games, I HATE having to play games in German.)

Improving English slills? Same argument as ever, heh? It seems i have to handle with it ... the only thing now that prevents me from buying it is the high price imho..

There has been much discussion in this forum on another link about the cost for the DW series. Since I purchased the original and each expansion individually over time, the total cost did not effect me that much. Matrix Games has in the past had discounts for its products during the Christmas holiday season for several years. There is no reason to believe that they won't do it again this year. Every little bit off the price helps.

Heinz; My grandfather spoke German and it was too bad I did not learn it when he was alive. I have a Swiss Monopoly game that I play regularly, and that gives me a chance to practice, since I know what the English version is like.
