Is it correct thet entrenchments reduce the effect for ground troops being bombarded. Does it help protect their supply?

It seems to me that Atolls ( I assume without entrenchments ) are death traps to defenders once bombed or bombarded?

What level on atolls do entrenchments become really effective?

Given what I've read about Wake island, the clear answer is never!!!!

Both fortification level and type of terrain give protection both to the LCU and the depots.

And on all atolls is the terrain clear??? It's difficult to see!

I think the terrain is "atoll" due to the hard coding for the attacker to always need to Shock Attack. That being said I would believe it's "protection level" is similar to clear terrain.

Yes, it is the same. Open area. But check closely, some are jungle....GP

Actually, Atoll is an island type. Not terrain....GP

Indeed! I was reading along and saw a post from Alfred. My initial thought was, "Alfred's back!", then I saw it was from 2012.

I am doing the same since a couple of month, but sometimes it is hard for me to be sure if the information is still up to date. I hope the new manual that seems to be coming with the next update will clear some things out.
