The scenario can be played vs the PO or vs a human opponent. For testing purposes both is okay, but i'm also looking for someone who wants to play a PBEM - any side.
Scenario raw data:
Map Scale: 2km per hex
Time Scale: Half day turns
Unit Scale: Battalion
Length: up to 60 turns (possibility for an earlier end by Sudden Death)
MRPB: 3
Attrition Divider: 25
Combat Density Penalty: 120
Supply Cost for Movement: 80
Readiness Cost for Movement: 80
Entrenchment Rate: 70
Version 2.0 and some more info is still available here:
http://thetoawbeachhead.wordpress.com/2 ... on-2-beta/
Changes since version 2.0:
- Reworked Allied PO air support options.
(Major Change)
- Reworked the EEV engine resp. Sudden Death chances. EEV locations are now marked with red stars.
(Major Change)
- Dropped the Valmonte EEV trigger area for the PO
- Added "Sudden Death Line" - Valmontone Gap - Campagna di Roma
(Major Change)
- The US Rangers can no more be divided. They are now section sized, but have the battalion size symbol.
- Fixed some event bugs and deployment errors.
- Set Attrition Divider to 25
(Major Change)
- Slightly reduced allied and German tank replacements

You're with the Oberst, are you?
I would monitor infantry replacements (both sides) if they are too high, maybe also look at Allied armor replacements. Note that there are disband units that are disbanded 'in the background' every fourth turn. These contain some AFVs, guns and in the case of the Germans 4 FJ squads.
Apart from that the usual things. Do the events work correctly, quirks and bugs, playbalance. Re playbalance: The new setup for the EEV based Allied Sudden Death plus the Sudden Death line will make it a bit harder for the German player than in previous versions, but it will avoid unrealistic situations like in some games that i've seen (Allies in the Valmontone gap and advancing towards Rome, but no Allied Sudden Death victory/no 10th Army withdrawal from the Gustav Line).
If you're new to the scenario, please read the pdf briefing.
Whoever plays the Allies: Be careful with the Allied navy - they are much more vulnerable against the Luftwaffe than in version 1.1 of the scenario (the version over at RD/Strategist). Best withdraw at the end of the turn to the distant sea hexes that represent the open sea.

I am not sure if Kamerad Foggy wants to play me... I'll PM him and I am awaiting your .SCE and the incredibly detailed documentation. Surprised that you are still up or already awake, uh?

Already awake.
I've sent you the files yesterday evening via E-Mail - didn't you get them (a .rar file)? Believe it or not, the documentation could have been even more detailed.[X(]

You would need the scenario files then, wouldn't you? Then I would need your e-mail address. Unless the Oberst is your opponent and has already forwarded the files.
I'm open for a game, too - if you look for another PBEM (any side).
