Speedy vs Deserted Fox (no DF)

Hi all,
After a couple of months away from WitE (due to burnout and sloppy play creeping in on my part) and my last game being on indefinite hold I decided to start to get back into WitE.
I'm playing Deserted Fox with me as the Axis. Game started under 1.06.13. Alt VC 41 Campaign. Not many House Rules except no SU spam bombing of units and I won't mule or abuse HQ stuff.
We've already played 7 turns so this is to get up to speed.
My aims are to take Leningrad and Moscow by Blizzard. Ideally I'll capture a load of Soviets too but it depends on DF's play style of which I have no inkling at game start.
I diverted 39th PzC north to help take Leningrad.
Standard openings really. End of T1 situation

T 2.
AGN:
DF places a skirmish line near Pskov but 39th PzC outflanks this to the SE and would risk encirclement next week.
Pockets cleaned up.

Checkerboarding by DF.
LVII PzC heads north of Minsk towards Vitebsk.
2nd PzG heads east of Minsk. Fuel will be an issue from now on as you'll see.....

AGS:
Lvov pocket broken (no surprise with no help from PzG 2) but re-sealed and a couple more untis are cut off SW of Vinnitsa with a bigger pocket formed NW of Rovno.
Seems like DF is fortifying the Dnepr and generally pulling back:

Turn 3.
AGN.
DF abandoned Pskov and falls back on a barely entrenched Luga Line. A lack of fuel means my boys can't advance that far:

The Landbridge is not defended and the Panzers take Vitebsk and to the east on fumes. Fuel will be a problem now......

Sir Robin to the Vyazma line by DF. No chance of any pockets here. Grr. Lack of fuel as always.

Cherkassy is taken and 38th Rifle Div. is thrown back from the Dnepr by 16th Motorised Div.
The sheer amount of units the SU has by Sir Robin though means it can be tough to take the Dnepr quickly.
