Someone explain the meaning "defense" on the popup window for the troops to me please.
Not the specific values of hard-, respectively Soft defense.
I talking about the green triangle.
What should, what can we do with it? [&:]

Other:
Russian infantry has the exact the same fight / defense values as the infantry of the German Wehrmacht.
Well, if it serves the gameplay. [8|]

Yeah, I can't find anything about it in the manual either but I would assume that the green triangle defense rating is the survivability of the unit and the red ratings are the ability of the unit to deal damage to enemy units while defending. At least then most of the stats would make sense to me.

About Russian infantry: I don't think that is so unreasonable, if we go down to the individual level - the worse performance of the Russian units can be reflected otherwise, for example with morale, officer rating, support weapons in each division etc.

I posted a question a few days ago on this topic but haven't received any replies; lots of views but no replies. I PM'd Vic about it because I am also confused, although ALEX0809's comments seem to make sense. If Vic doesn't post an answer to my PM in the forum, alll post an answer here.

In the detailed battle report will appear two columns under "Individual List".
How these columns are to be interpreted? [&:]

I believe column 1 refers to a unit's status at the beginning of the combat round and column 2 refers to the unit's status at the end of the combat round.

Basically combat on individual to individual basis is randomized attack score versus randomized defense score. If attack ends up higher the attacking individual scores a hit.

If attack or defense score is indicated with 2 values like 100/50 it means the first value is used by the side thats on the offensive (trying to take the hex) and the second by the side thats on the defensive (trying to hold the hex).

Best,
Vic

What does a solid horizontal bar at the bottom of the unit counter indicate?
When you have an HQ highlighted what does the button to the right of the tab that shows how many Commnd Point mean? There is a + symbol in it.

That would be how many command points the officer regains per round, I assume.

I believe that bar only appears on artillery units. Ammo stockpiles?

I agree with Cleveland. Just I've tried to fire a barrage and shooting unit turned bar from green to yellow.

The Russian 295th Rifle Division is selected.
Recon on the hex is 1300.
Why is the unit integrity on the bar on the counter on the map and on the counter in the unit base info area different in heights and has a different color?
It's the same division!

This is now an enemy division, but it also happens to my counters!
And that issue does not happen always!

I think is the opposite, now you can see a guard unit with good recon, different height/color and it seems more strong:

Now, no good recon but its height/color is pretty correct, I think a reversed FOW.

Re: your first screen, any idea why there is a difference in integrity bar color From the main screen (red) and the unit base info (blue)?

I think the bar color should be reversed, I mean if I don't have enough recon points then I should see the blue bar otherwise I should see the red one.
The main screen bar should be the correct one.

Color an hight of the bar

Check color an hight of the bar from the German 23rd Panzer Division, PZ Regiment and also from the German Motorized Engineer Corps.

I am in the same round and there were no attacks between these two images!

If I ever want to attack a city or a village, my submarines get 100% Att-Mod!

Good to know. [8D]
