So far I'm pretty impressed with the AI! I'm playing the intro Kharkov scenario as the Germans, on "Normal," and I've got my hands full. I know the AI gets combat and movement bonuses even on this level, but it's proving itself quite capable of encirclement -- and, more importantly, of frustrating my attempts to encircle it. I don't mind giving the AI a "handicap" if it plays reasonably, and so far it is playing quite well.

About the only mistake I've seen it make is to leave a couple of rocket artillery alone out in the open. Easy pickings. I don't really mind.
