Sips are disbanded in Tokyo its now Feb 3rd and no conversion has started - are they in the right place? Shipyards have enough space etc.

For a conversion to happen you must tell the ship to convert, they will not automatically convert from a CS to a CVL.

Not entirely true. At leasti in stock scenarios Chitose/Chiyoda conversions are actually upgardes, so they convert automatically. Mizuho and Nisshin conversions are alternative upgrade path, so they don't convert automatically.

I don't know how it is in RA mod.

I will try next turn as I just finished it but I have said yes to conversion on the ship screen. I will fiddle with it next turn.

So, did you manage to get them to upgrade (I hoped John would answer your questions, because I might be not entirely aware of the current state of the mod, but for now he seems absent...)

--Chitose, Chiyoda, and Mizuho are all the same class and all Upgrade alike.
--Nisshin comes in AS a CVL

--Disband in Tokyo, Upgrade/Conversion ON, and wait. That should do it.

Nothing so far and we are about 6th Feb

I put one in Tokyo one in Hiroshima nd one in Kobe - nohing so far. All boxes are ticked as a yes.

Make sure the ships are empty - no planes, supplies. Some ships have a capacity to carry supplies and if the ship still has some, it prevents the upgrade/conversion.

Actually airgroups are either converted to carrier aircraft or ejected to port when conversion happens.

Anyway, all seems to be set up correctly in the editor. It might be a bug in the code, related or unrelated to RA. I advise to post the issue in the tech support thread.

I have found the one CS in Tokyo has some supplies - I am unloading them now.

the other two have no supplies and are on their way back to Tokyo.
I will post if it works.

The CS MUST be in Tokyo. There was a thread just recently talking about that.

Unload the supplies and you should be good.
