Russian Airbase Effect on Combat

I know the different airbase names have different meanings (fighter, bomber, etc) but do they actually have any effect on combat? Does a fighter regiment perform less well in a bomber base, bomber regiment perform less well in a fighter base, etc?

No. The only airbase unit with special abilities is the VVS as they are the bases from which the partisans are supplied. The others are just names but no real differences.

Also: If those night mission enabled air group units attached to VVS air base units are not sufficient to meet the partisan needs, then transport and level bomber air group units set to night missions and attached to DBAD, AD DD, GAD DD, and GDBAD air base units may be selected by the computer to also transport supplies to partisan units

will guard fighter bases give a moral bonus to all fighter regiments in this specific base?
