I've just created an area on the social news web site Reddit for posting and discussing Distant Worlds:

I'd like to invite anyone here that's interested to join me in discussing the game there as well.

The Matrix Games forum here is great and seems to have a terrific community. I certainly don't wish to take anything away from it. My hope is just to help give this fun game some additional exposure.

a good idea, but I would have gone with a general more towards matrix games, just saying

Well, someone can certainly create a Matrix Games subreddit as well. Why not? I'd certainly cross-link to it on the Distant Worlds subreddit.

I haven't played any of the other games published by Matrix Games, so my personal interest (so far) is strictly with Distant Worlds.

Thanks! I'm trying to think of some useful posts that will help get the subreddit going. Let me know if you think of any information you'd like to see there. Or better yet, post any interesting stuff you find yourself.

when This game becomes some ridiculous 3D faster blaster and mutliplayer is when you'll probably see some big exposure.. but I would post as many videos as possible of this game to really get exposure..

Thanks for the suggestion. I've already posted one item highlighting Das24680's videos. Maybe I'll try to post some more.
