CTD at start "Unhandled Exception"

Hi.
Finally made the choice to give DW a try, bought and downloaded it last Friday.
Installation went without problems.
However I cannot start the game as I get this message once with a CTD. After the first try I only get a "Windows has stopped working" message.
Tried to uninstall, reinstall, patch, etc. No different result. (WIN7, 64bit)
Interestingly, when I tried to install the game on a different system (WIN7, 32bit), I get exactly the same error message and system response.
The fifth line in the error message says: "(REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG). Could it have something to do with language settings? My keyboard is set to EN.
Please see the attachement.
Support Centre doesn't answer since Friday... I start to feel that I did the right thing only purchasing DW and not the expansions...
Has anybody encountered a similar problem?
