It was disbanded on 12 August 1944, being renumbered No. 30 Squadron, South African Air Force

There is lots of stuff like this happening. The game database isn't capable of tracking a unit lifecycle, so we just have to do our best with what we have... Some LW units were renumberd in late 44, we have to leave them with their original designations. (III/JG54 > IV/JG26 etc)

No need waiting for 223 squadron it is in from the start of 43 campaign.

I'm playing the 700-Turn game, chaps.

223 are a Liberator-equipped squadrom within 100 Group after 1944. I'm in January 1945 and the squadron IS there - but when you click on its home airfield it has 0 a/c allocated! ditto 214 Sqn with Fortresses.

Septemper 1944 223 squadron upgraded to Liberator IV and Fortress II, III in 100 group
Can you chance the Liberator RCM to Halifax RCM .What numbers are in the aircraft pool.

Plenty of a/c in the Pool, old chap.

However, the squadron(s) do not appear on the roster.
