How to update new patch and engine.

Go to Graviteam forums since I can't seem to post links here anymore.

(1)Go to 5.81 engine link 1st- right click on it and select save target as to desk top,when downloaded go to updater press install and select the install 5.81 on your desktop,the updater will ask you if you want to replace the existing engine press yes then save and play.

(2)Do same thing with August patch 3.09.

Disregard last message for opening updater 1st when downloading to desktop just left click on the file on desktop after downloading and updater will automatically open and ask to replace old update with new press yes then save and play.

Why cant matrix give us easy patch installer?How many months has it been,this game kicks the sh*t out of 90% of other titles sold here.That is a fact.

Hello there gents. Can someone be kind enough to tell me the actual size of the August patch file? Cheers

the engine update is 2.91 mb
the aug patch is 479mb
the district update[i just downloaded it, it's usually optional] 1.20 gb

It's really amazing, I agree, that such an excellent game receives so little attention from Matrix. There must be a reason...?

My guess would be that it's because their just the publisher and not a partner, i guess logically they would throw more resources towards products they have a bigger slice of the pie. That I understand, but they did say in these forums that the addons would be coming and a new installer also if i'm not mistaken. I get the addons and patches at GG so it's no big deal to me, but i know some have inquired and haven't got answers. I'm a big believer in doing what you say your going to do, or at least explaining why things have changed.

Greed!! Matrix doesn't like competition.

Matrix didn't get sole distribution rights and most people can get this game cheaper else where with better service.
Competition means Matrix would have to work for your dollar.Not something they really wanted to do.

Graviteam made a mistake doing business with Matrix,and as far as I'm concerned their business arrangement has had no positive impact on sales or service and Graviteam would be better off taking their title else where.

Response/Service from Matrix for this title does seem poor but I do like being able to download the game without have to install another program like Gamergate or Steam here....

As it stands now you only have 2 options-Patch manually or do without.
