Each engine proton, starburner, turbothrusters, vortex, acceleros, quantum all have unique sprites each has their own specific engine afterburner design. I tried to keep them the same colors as the originals, but with own unique image.
I find with the different unique images for engine afterburner trails it gives the technology where you can actualy see a difference in engines.

Proton------/dark blue=kinda looks like startrek enterprise engine rays.
acceleros----red/orange/yellow/darkblue
turbothrusters---teal---they now look like a unique engine for specific race
starburners----red-->also looks unique for race specific.
Vortex-- purple.
quantum--- pink

Well I'm downloading, I'll let you know how they do in game after I've used em for a bit.

Hey thanks for the comment i really appreciate it, I am working on changing the Vortex and Starburner engine trails, unless someone out there like em, but they just dont look right to me. I know i like doing this kinda stuff i really enjoy it 4 some reason.

cool, alright my favorite looking thruster are the proton now. ahaha before they just like plain blue. Now they look absolutly sweet and they kinda give me the star trek enterprise ship engine trails beam rays. but i dont like the look of star trek ships the show was still great.

Been using them a couple of days now, and I do like these better than the default engine glows. Their crisper and smaller, which is a good thing as it makes the graphics less cluttered. I'm going to continue using the modded glows.
